THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF CERTIFICATION

The word “Halal” (al-halal – Arabic for “permissible”) means the canonical permission for Muslims to consume any product or perform any action (including ways to make money).

HALAL CERTIFICATE

In many countries the quality of Halal products is strictly monitored, the goods are subject to mandatory certification, and producers are fined in case of incompliance.

Ukrainian producers and suppliers have to search for new ways to extend the market for their goods and to implement their production capability. The trends and dynamics of the global Halal market offer such opportunities.

A Halal Certificate is the only instrument that allows exporting food staffs to the Muslim countries. It certifies conformance of manufactured products or provided services to the Halal rules. It confirms that a Halal labelled product contains no harmful additives and preservatives, is healthy and was produced at a site with no hygiene issues.

The certificate is valid for a year or for a certain lot of food products and authorizes producer's presence in the Halal markets in Europe and in the countries of the ArabIslamic world. Without this certificate, any export operations in the above mentioned countries are prohibited.

An enterprise seeking for a Halal Certificate to confirm conformance to international requirements is supervised for compliance with Halal rules. The inspection is carried out by a commission of experts, namely:

  • Vasian, Yurii Ivanovych, director
  • Overchuk, Vsevolod Petrovych, state veterinarian
  • Mahmud Hamad, Inspector,
  • Alketbi Ali Abdalla Saeed Binnouma, Inspector,
  • Hisham Abu Imara, Inspector

HALAL PRODUCTS CERTIFICATION

An enterprise seeking for a Halal Certificate to confirm conformance to international requirements with a view to export the foods, is supervised for compliance with Halal rules.
